This piece was turned by hand using oak that was locally and responsibly sourced here in North Carolina. This piece has been ebonized using a wood-reacting stain. The stain reacts to the wood giving it the darkened look. This is the first time I have attempted this and would be considered an experimental piece.

Made using the once-turned method, this piece was shaped while the wood was still green and allowed to dry in its final form—resulting in gentle warping and movement unique to each piece.
If any cracks are present, they’ve been carefully stabilized and left unfilled to preserve the natural look and character of the wood.
Care: This piece is intended for decorative use only. If used otherwise, do so at your discretion and with dry contents only. Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking in water or prolonged exposure to sunlight.
